José Antonio Vélez
José Antonio Vélez Jiménez (born 16 September 1983), known as Ñoño, is a Spanish footballer who plays for UE Cornellà. Mainly a left back, he can also operate as a striker or a left winger.〔(Ñoño Velez Jimenez ); Gimnàstic's official website 〕

Born in Tarragona, Catalonia, Ñoño began his career with local Gimnàstic de Tarragona, and made his senior debut on 27 November 2004 against Terrassa FC for the Segunda División championship.〔(Bolo sentencia en tiempo de descuento (Bolo decides it in injury time) ); El Mundo Deportivo, 28 November 2004 〕 He finished the season on loan to CD Alcoyano, in Segunda División B.〔(El Marino ficha a Ñoño como sustituto de Guaya (Marino signs Ñoño as a replacement for Guaya) ); La Voz de Asturias, 18 July 2007 〕
Ñoño stayed in the third level for 2005–06, appearing rarely for UE Sant Andreu〔(Mercado de fichajes (Transfer market) ); Marca 〕 and moving all the way down to the regional leagues with FC Andorra. In the 2007 summer he returned to the third tier, signing for Marino de Luanco.〔
Subsequently Ñoño spent four seasons with CF Pobla de Mafumet, Gimnàstic's farm team.
